All eyes will be on the main prize at this weekend’s glittering Academy Awards, but even the losers will be winners thanks to the annual goodie bags.

While British movie stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne, Keira Knightley, Felicity Jones and Rosamund Pike will be eyeing up an Oscar, there will be nothing like the bags packed with $125,000 (£82,000) worth of treats to help soothe their disappointment if they miss out on a gong.

The swag bag, which is the most extravagant ever, includes a three-night stay at a resort in Tuscany valued at $1,500 (£972) and a luxurious train ride through the Canadian Rockies valued at $14,500 (£9,400).
